Dallas Mavericks CEO and Preston Hollow neighbor Cynt Marshall will moderate a conversation at the upcoming Texas Women’s Foundation Forum & Awards Celebration.

On April 30, Marshall will moderate a discussion with ABC co-anchor 20/20 Deborah Roberts at the foundation’s annual awards ceremony. Marshall has a well of accolades from becoming the first Black female CEO in the history of the National Basketball Association with her position at the Mavericks. She is also a certified trailblazer, previous board chairman of CASA and has had leadership positions at AT&T for over three decades.

Each year, TXWF chooses aspiring women to lead their Forum & Awards Celebration. In addition to the announcement of Marshall, TXWF’s new president and CEO Karen Hughes White will attend and make a few remarks at the event.

The day will feature various leadership forums and conclude with the Awards Celebration and dinner, moderated by Marshall and led by Roberts at 6:30 p.m.

The event will be held at the Omni Dallas Hotel on Tuesday, April 30.
