W. T. White Swim Team Wins District!!
On Friday, Jan. 25, 2008, the W. T. White Longhorns coached by Coach Raul Rios competed in the District Swim Meet at Loos Natatorium. The Boys team took 1st place for the 2nd year in the row. The Girls took 1st place continuing their long tradition. The Girls team was made up of the following students: Claudia Bledsoe, Megan Culver, Alexandria Bledsoe, Laura Estes, Alex King, Kristine Larsen, Maritza Lomeli, Kelsey Mantel, Kirsten Mathisen, Maren Mathisen, Elena Trejo and Chelsea Watts. The Boys team had the following students: Logan Bechly, Nick Chong, Ross Dyer, Danny Hays, Paul Hopkins, Mitchell Maggard, Alex Perez, Stephen Rabroker, Michael Santana and Emmanuel Yupit.
