It seems more and more people are drowning in their mortgages and unable to sell their homes that were substantially more valuable just a short time ago. Local realtor Lydia Player, who we have on our blog roll to the left, specializes in North Dallas homes and posted some interesting thoughts on the housing market today with a visual interpretation of what’s happened the the value of homes over the past seven years.
Basically, we all had beautiful designer pearl necklaces in 2007 and then the catastrophic year of 2009 hits and we’ve got nothing but Mardi Gras beads to show for it. Looks like we might get our pearls back in 2011.
