Folk musician Sara Hickman will perform a special show Friday at Uncle Calvin’s Coffeehouse to benefit Alveolar Capillary Dysplasia research. Hickman will sing from her latest recording, “Absence of Blame,” along with many fan favorites. Her opening act is 2-Bit Palomino, a trio named that was Vocal Group of the Year by the Academy of Texas Music. Tickets are $10-$20 and available online. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the show begins at 8 p.m.

The Frontiers of Flight Museum opens the exhibit Vectors: Abstractions in Aviation Art by Don Parr. Parr’s exhibit features abstract paintings and constructions with aviation themes. The exhibit runs through Sept. 21. Museum hours are 10:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.

The Fun with Chocolate tour will display Dallas’ best chocolatiers and bakeries Saturday. Presented by Dallas by Chocolate, the tour is 1-4:15 p.m., and tickets are $25. The tour includes transportation, wine or water. Venues include Tart Bakery, the Dark Chocolate Bakery and Elegantly Chocolate. encourages all ages to enjoy the sweetness of the city.
