A summary of several recent crimes that have occurred in Preston Hollow, courtesy police reports from the Dallas Police Department.

On Feb. 11 at 1:15 p.m., a trip to Wells Fargo Bank in the Lincoln Park shopping center turned hostile as a conflict erupted between two customers in line. A man visiting with a bank teller asked the person behind him to back up and give him privacy. The person refused and threatened to “kick the ass” and “knock out” the man. The person was arrested and given a Class C Misdemeanor for Assault before being released.

Between 7:40 a.m.-5:40 p.m.on Feb. 11, an unknown suspect broke into an apartment on the 7700 block of Glen America and stole a television and laptop valued at $1300.

Between 8 a.m. and 4:20 p.m. on Feb. 13 three cars parked at Preston Center were broken into. In two of the cases, passenger windows were broken to gain entrance. Over $1000 of personal belongings were stolen from the three cars.

Between 9 p.m. on Feb. 15 and 7 a.m. on Feb. 16, an unknown suspect egged two vehicles parked on the street outside of a residence on the 11400 block of Strait. Nails were put in the car tires and vehicle owners estimate cleanup costs at $20.
