A “national brand hotel” is coming to 10111 North Central Expressway. Dallas Business Journal reports that a subsidiary of Blue Star Hospitality acquired the property, which previously housed KTVT, “for an undisclosed sum.”

Dallas ISD trustee Dan Micciche is proposing “a policy that would require recess at least once a day for students in prekindergarten through fifth grade in all DISD elementary schools.” If implemented, this won’t change much at Preston Hollow Elementary. The school already sets aside 15 to 20 minutes a day for outdoor play, “weather permitting.” The Dallas Morning News has more.

The late Emma Sue and Jerry Frank hosted many a party at their Preston Hollow home.
