Temple Emanu-El is hosting a couples’ wine tasting Shabbat on Friday from 8-9:30 p.m. at Times Ten Cellars. Light bites will be served alongside four white and red wines. Tickets are $36 per couple ($18 for singles) and available here.

Half Price Books

New York Times best-selling author Bret Baier will read excerpts of his latest work “Three Days in January: Dwight Eisenhower’s Final Mission” at Half Price Books this Saturday. There is no charge to attend the event, which begins at 2 p.m.

Support ovarian cancer research at the Jewish Community Center’s Wheel to Survive this Sunday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The nationwide event raises funds for the Be the Difference Foundation.
