Artist Tracy Hicks will be at the Valley House tomorrow to talk about his latest exhibition there that addresses global warming. But this isn’t your typical art exhibition. Hicks has actually put a collection of sculptures inside a glass cabinet so they can be observed as a group. Yes, there’s something deep and artistic about exhibiting the art this way…but if you’re anything like me, you don’t easily grasp it. That’s where the free lecture comes in. Hicks will explain his inspiration behind the art. Plus, if you’ve never roamed the sculpture garden at the Valley House you’re missing out big time. It’s like our neighborhood’s own little arboretum, and it’s free. And tomorrow’s going to be the ideal day to take in a little sunshine in the garden.
