It seems a new restaurant it opening up shop in the Plaza at Preston Center. I was driving down Luther Lane today when a ‘coming soon’ sign caught my eye. Turns out a Zea Wood Fire Grill will be opening there sometime in "late spring," which I assume means no later than the end of May. I’ve placed a call trying to find an exact open date, and I’ll let you know what I learn.
This is actually the restaurant’s second location. The original opened about a year ago in Plano.
As the name indicates, the menu consists of mostly grilled meats and fish. There’s everything from bone-in rotisserie chicken to ribs, to lamb and duck. It’s a little on the pricey side (about $12 for lunch, and about $20 for dinner) but there are weekly lunch and dinner specials.
