It’s candidate forum time, and you have two chances to meet the candidates for Texas House of Representatives District #107 (Allen Vaught and Bill Keffer) and a chance to hear the candidates for Dallas County sheriff (Lupe Valdez and Lowell Cannaday) and the candidates for Texas House District #108 (Dan Branch and Emil Reichstadt).

Tuesday, Oct. 7, at 11:30 a.m., the Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce is hosting both sets of candidates during the group’s monthly lunch at TopGolf, 8787 Park Lane. And Oct. 15 at 7 p.m. in Woodrow Wilson High School‘s auditorium, 100 S. Glasgow, the District 107 candidates (Keffer, Vaught and Brandon Parsons) and the candidates for District 108 (Reichstadt and Branch) will be talking about issues, particularly education issues, at a forum sponsored by Woodrow’s Community Council.
