I just learned that Cava Restaurant has just opened near the Preston Royal Village in Les Rendezvous’s old spot. This eatery, named for Spanish sparkling wines, specializes in an interesting mix of global cuisine. The menu offers everything from enchiladas to pizza to herb-crusted rack of lamb–and most dishes seem to go for about $12 to $20. I hear that a Spanish man and his Columbian wife own the restaurant, which may account for the eclectic lineup.
There’s also weekend brunch here, and teatimes. They’re also offering a $50 Valentines Day dinner, and because they don’t have their permit yet, it’s BYOB for now.
