The W.T. White-Hillcrest rivalry is gaining steam as we near this Friday’s big football game.

Both of the schools’ principals have now gotten in on the competition: If W.T. White has more fans at the game, then Hillcrest principal Roland Jones will have to color his hair bright orange in honor of the Longhorns. But if Hillcrest has a higher turnout, then W.T. White principal Orlando Riddick will be sporting red tresses. The schools’ PTAs have sent out these photos for your viewing pleasure.

At halftime, cheerleaders from the school with the most fans will paint the hair of their opponent’s principal. Oh, and on Monday, principals have also agreed to wear the winning team’s jersey to school.

Good luck to both schools—and my hat off to both principals for being such good sports.
