Saturday from noon to 5 La Duni is hosting a cookie-decorating workshop for kids at NorthPark. For $5 kids can create their own edible Valentine, with proceeds benefitting North Texas Food Bank. The decorating stations will be set up on level one in the hallway between LOFT and XXI Forever.

This weekend it becomes the Year of the Tiger according to the Chinese calendar. Mint will be celebrating the Chinese New Year Saturday night by handing out traditional lucky red envelopes to everyone who dines in. Those envelopes will be filled with $10 off coupons or vouchers for a free dessert, appetizer, soup—or maybe just a sassy "New Year" greeting. Sunday night the restaurant will be offering several Valentine’s Day specials, but you’d better book a table now because the small space fills up fast.
