It’s official: our TC Marsh Cadet Corps have won the 2010 JRTOC National Championship. This is their third national title (they won in 2007 and 2008—and they were runner up in 2009).
Though I’m very happy to hear about the victory, I can’t say I’m all that surprised. I wrote about the T.C. Marsh Cadet Corps program about a year ago, so I know just how outstanding this program is, thanks in large part to instructor David Bates, who funds a lot of it himself. Congratulations to these very committed kids, I can’t think of a more deserving bunch.
