There’s a little something for everyone, but here’s a few options to get the weekend started early:

Celebrate Hispanic heritage during Kramer Elementary’s Hispanic Cultural Program, which starts at 5:30 tonight with a $5 Mexican dinner. Proceeds will help send fifth graders to science camp this year.

Head over to the Plaza at Preston Center 6:30-8:30 tonight for the Plaza Style event, showcasing the latest fall fashions from popular stores, including the center’s recent addition, Mal Malouf. Hosted by Channel 11’s Selena Hernandez, the event features cocktails and hors d’oeuvres plus, free valet. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door.

And for the weekend:

Travel a bit farther north Friday and Saturday for the Greek Food Festival of Dallas, a rare opportunity to experience all things Greek – the food, the market, the arts, the performances and more – at The Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church at Hillcrest and Alpha. Admission is just $6 at the gate.

Have a girls’ night out at La Duni NorthPark at 5:30 p.m. Friday when the restaurant will serve a three-course dinner followed by a screening of the new chick flick, “You Again.”

Get outfitted at Ken’s Man’s Shop 1-4 p.m. Saturday during its in-store event, Remy Leather and Private Label. A portion of proceeds will benefit the Unsung Hero Fund for the military. Pick up the latest issue of Preston Hollow Advocate for a story on the shop’s owner Ken Helfman and how he and his son Kory are making a difference in our community.
