On Friday, Sept. 16 at 11:30 a.m., DUO is hosting a lunch demonstration by Chef Kent Rathbun (Abacus, Rathbun’s Blue Plate, Jasper’s) and nationally famous Chef Nick Stellino of the TV shows “Cooking With Friends,” “Cucina Amore” and “Nick Stellino’s Family Kitchen.” DUO, which is co-owned by Rathbun’s wife, Tracy, and Lynae Fearing, is a stylish and interactive culinary store.
“I’m excited to partner with Nick for a weekend of consumer-friendly, culinary events,” Rathbun says. “Nick’s enthusiasm for Italian cooking is infectious, and this is a great chance for Dallas’ dining public to learn from and be inspired by the man himself.”
The cooking class will feature some of Stellino’s favorite pasta dishes, including pasta with tomatoes; basil and shrimp; pasta with ham; mushrooms, asparagus and truffle oil; and pasta with braised sausages and ricotta parmigiana.
