It’s happening all over the world, and Preston Hollow Elementary is getting in on the action.

Our neighborhood school will join in the effort to try and break the Guinness Book of World Records for the most people doing jumping jacks within a 24-hour period. To break the record, more than 20,000 people around the globe have to complete 1 minute of jumping jacks between 3 p.m. today and 3 p.m. Wednesday.

It’s part of First Lady Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move” campaign to help fight childhood obesity. Around 200 Preston Hollow Elementary students will participate in the event at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the school.
