Dude, Sweet Chocolate
Dude, Sweet Chocolate will be closing their store in the Preston Center by the end of July. Owner Katherine Clapner explained last November that the Preston Center shop was temporary and “could become permanent depending on how sales go during the holiday shopping season.”
Although the news is disappointing (bummer,dude!), the shop’s retail development director Emily Brown, tells D magazine that the chocolatiers-who have stores in Oak Cliff and Fort Worth- are also looking into setting up shop in Lakewood or McKinney.
