Officials at Thomas Jefferson High School called a meeting Monday night to warn parents of a recent spike in students overdosing on prescription drugs. Just last month, CBS DFW reports, the school called 911 on seven separate occasions due to a prescription drug overdose concerns.
President George W. Bush has been up to some artistic endeavors since leaving the White House and moving into his Preston Hollow home. Dallas News reports that the 43rd President will have his paintings, (which, according to the press release, are inspired by foreign policy and relationships with world leaders,) displayed at the Bush Presidential Library and Museum in early April.
