Update: Firefighters identify body found in aftermath of Preston Place Condos fire

One body was found at Preston Place Condos after a seven-alarm fire overtook the building late Friday, March 3.

The body has been identified as Jacqueline McDonald, an 89-year-old woman reported missing, the Dallas Morning News reports. 

The blaze took 42 hours to put out and displaced 100 residents. Firefighters returned to the scene Wednesday, March 8, when the fire reignited at roughly 1 a.m. The flames were extinguished by early morning, the Star-Telegram reports.
