Three ways to be creative in the neighborhood this weekend

Albert & Gage are known for their harmonies and versatility, and you can hear the Austin-based duo for yourself Friday, Jan. 5, at Uncle Calvin’s Coffeehouse. Singer-songwriter Raquel Lindemann-Nguyen opens the show at 8 p.m. Tickets cost $18-$22, and you can get all the details here.

Try your hand at pottery during this North Haven Gardens workshop Sunday, Jan. 7, led by artist Dee Mayes. You don’t need any prior experience, and all supplies will be provided. The class, slated from 2-4:30 p.m., costs $65. Learn more here. 

Learn to draw with artist Ian O’Brien at the Meadows Museum on Sunday from 1:30-3 p.m.  The event is free with admission but limited to 20 people.
