Tony winner Victoria Clark, a Dallas native and a Hockaday graduate, is the 2018 recipient of the Dallas Summer Musicals High School Musical Theatre Awards’ Fullinwider Award, honoring her for her experience in the Dallas theater community and more.

The awards recognize achievements of North Texas and Oklahoma theater students. This year’s ceremony will be May 17 at 7 p.m. at the Music Hall at Fair Park. The Leah & Jerome M. Fullinwider Award is named after Leah and Jerry Fullinwider, the founding donors of DSM’s High School Musical Theatre Awards.

Clark is a graduate of Yale University. She won the Tony Award for Best Leading Actress in a Musical for her role in The Light in the Piazza, in addition to Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards. She received Tony nominations for her performances in Cinderella, Sister Act, and Gigi. Clark is writing an autobiographical play.
