Neighbors know that the Northaven Trail is finally moving west from the current end at Preston Road. The Friends of the Northaven Trail provides an update:
Phase 2A is being led by the City of Dallas and will run from Preston Road west to Cinderella Drive, just west of Midway Road. The bridge over Bachman Branch Creek was recently constructed. A second bridge, over Joe’s Creek, has already been installed. This aspect of the project should be done by the end of 2019.
Phase 2B-C is being led by Dallas County and will run from Cinderella Drive to Denton Drive (near the Walnut Hill DART Station). Construction on Phase 2B-C should be done by the end of summer.
