AT LAST!, a program aimed to help ender intergenerational poverty through education, will break ground on its first residence hall April 16.

The program, founded by Preston Hollow resident and businessman Randy Bowman, focuses on providing students with resources and skills to get the most out of their education. After the school day, the program provides impoverished students with resources and tools their more affluent colleagues enjoy.

AT LAST!’s new residence hall, which will be located at 405 E. Overton Road, will provide students with a place to stay at night while attending school. Students stay at the residence halls from between Sunday night and Friday.

The groundbreaking ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. April 16 at the Overton Road location.
