Three vehicles were burglarized and one was stolen over a timespan of just two days last week.

On April 16, an unlocked vehicle parked in front of 3805 Shady Hill Drive was burglarized, and highly sellable sporting equipment and other property was taken. The complainant was in the house for a period of 10 minutes while the burglary took place.

Also on that day, a truck parked on the street in front of 4028 Courtshire Drive was stolen. The complainant said he was working on the address and needed to charge his phone. He turned the truck on and plugged his cell phone into the charger and went back to working on the residence. A vehicle with five men, at least one armed with an unidentified hand gun, pulled up next to the truck. Two men got out of their vehicle, entered the truck and drove off, firing shots into the air as they drove away.

The truck was later found at 5616 Spring Valley Road with the keys, the man’s cell phone and paper work missing. The inside door panel was damaged and the truck’s oil pan was leaking, according to the Northaven Park Neighborhood Association report.

On April 17, an unlocked vehicle parked in a drive near an alley at 3830 Pallos Verdas Drive was burglarized. Two suspects driving a white pickup truck stopped near the vehicle, entered it and took cash and other valuables.

Another vehicle was burglarized at the Shopping Center. A woman left her car and couldn’t remember if she had locked it. When she returned, she saw a Hispanic male exiting her car and fleeing the scene in a white Dodge Ram truck. Nothing was reported stolen and there was no damage to the vehicle.

Dallas Police Department list all reports as suspended.
