Watch: Tollway time capsule from 1975. You won’t believe what this reporter predicted

The SMU G. William Jones Film and Video Collection archive has this wonderful WFAA video from June 1975. The tollway cost 25 cents back then, and the reporter told us that the road would be free by 2005. That obviously didn’t happen, but it’s fun to watch the story. (The cars are super cool.)
