Frost Gelato in Preston Hollow Village closed, reports Teresa Gubbins at Culture Map. Nazario Melchionda, the corporate chef who oversees the recipes for the treats at Frosts around the country, trained under some of Italy’s gelato masters and is from Bologna. The shop also sold cakes, coffee and hot chocolate. Flavors included tangelo, Crema Dei Dogi and cannoli. One Yelp reviewed noted that the staff was patient and would let you sample many flavors before you made your selection.
