“Bat Out of Hell” singer Meat Loaf claims he’s going through hell and is suing. Did he fall or trip? Could the venue have avoided the mishap? The Thomas Jefferson High graduate, whose legal name is Michael Aday, is suing Dallas Hyatt Regency DFW and Texas Frightmare Weekend after he fell from a stage last year, according to Fox News. He says he’s injured and can’t perform.

Here’s Meat Loaf’s background: He captured our hearts with the “Bat Out of Hell” albums. He starred as Eddie in “Rocky Horror Picture Show” and appeared in “Fight Club.” A recent Broadway hit was based on his music. The singer was also a T.J. distinguished alum.

A spokesman for Hyatt told KXAS-TV (NBC5) that the company doesn’t discuss litigation. Check out the video of him falling here.
