The chef behind Mexican restaurant José is launching a ghost kitchen, Provecho Pollos, inside the restaurant, to serve takeout.

Chef Anastacia Quinones got the idea earlier in the pandemic when her kitchen staff was able to prepare meals for Feed the Front Lines and dish out the José orders at the same time.

The main dish available at Provecho Pollos is whole and half chicken, but the menu offers several additions, including traditional Mexican chicken soup, charro beans, Mexican rice and salsas. There’s also churros and arroz con leche for dessert, and a few drink options, including two kinds of margaritas.

Provecho Pollos is located at 4931 W. Lovers Lane. Customers can order online or by calling 214-891-5673.
