A new veterinary clinic is coming to the Preston Valley Shopping Center.

Dallas Animal Urgent Care will be housed in Suite 405, according to a building permit application. Kelley Curtis, a project engineer at Southlake General Contractors, filed the application March 2 for an interior remodel only.

According to the application, the remodel will cover over 4,100 square feet, and the estimated cost of the project is $184,000. Trades listed include building, customer service, electrical, energy code and plumbing.

The clinic’s website shows it will offer a wide range of services for dogs and cats including emergency and urgent care, surgeries, wound repair, vaccines, wellness visits, ultrasound, digital x-rays, laboratory testing and orthopedic/neurologic exams. It will also issue interstate health certificates.

Clients will be able to schedule drop-off appointments, and the clinic will be open for extended weekday and weekend hours.

No opening date is listed on Dallas Animal Urgent Care’s website.
