Keep an eye out for this Colonial-style house in our neighborhood as you’re watching TV this season.

A home on Deloache Avenue was included in filming of the Freeform drama series Cruel Summer, Paper City reported. In the series, it’s the home of Martin Harris, who kidnaps another character, Kate Wallis. When it first appears on the show, it’s the place broken into by a few characters, one of whom might have seen Wallis in the basement.

The two-story house with a basement was built in 1938 and includes nearly 7,000 square feet of living space. It has four bedrooms, two bathrooms and three fireplaces and sits on a 20,000-square-foot lot.

Dallas Central Appraisal District lists the residence’s building classification as Class 25, which signifies “an excellent quality, elaborate brick veneer house” that when it was built, “it was about the best house there was.”

It may have been valuable when it was first constructed, but the property value has changed now. The land value of the property is more than $400,000 higher than the value of the home.
