Thirsty Lion Gastropub & Grill is opening its third Texas location in our neighborhood.
The restaurant will move into the former Matchbox American Kitchen & Spirits space on Walnut Hill Lane near several other dining establishments including Blue Sushi Sake Grill. Other Texas locations are in Euless and Irving.
At Thirsty Lion, guests order from a menu that includes sandwiches, salads, pizza, tacos and more. The gastropub also offers a weekend brunch, featuring items such as Irish whiskey French toast, huevos rancheros and a breakfast burrito. Plus, there’s plenty of breakfast cocktails available — several kinds of Bloody Marys and mimosas, Aperol spritz and a screwdriver, to name a few.
The other Texas locations offer happy hour specials on drinks and bites.
Thirsty Lion will debut in Preston Hollow at 7859 Walnut Hill Lane. Check back with the Advocate for updates.
