The Friends of Northaven Trail are hosting the annual Light the Trail party this weekend.
Hot chocolate and ice cream will be served, and Santa is coming to visit.
Ahead of the party, neighbors who live along the trail are asked to decorate their fences. The three best decorations will receive prizes at the event.
Submit photos of decorated fences by emailing info@northaventrail.org.
The party is scheduled for 5:30-7:30 p.m. Dec. 12 at the intersection of the Northaven Trail and Edgemere Road, near George Bannerman Dealey Elementary.
