Fish City Grill is reopening its Preston Hollow location today.

The seafood restaurant planned to open last week but was delayed because of supply chain issues.

Fish City Grill closed its location in our neighborhood after the tornado in 2019.

Bill Bayne, the co-founder of the restaurant, told The Advocate in a July 2021 interview that many team members began working at other locations when the Preston-Royal spot shut down. Before it closed, it was the busiest of the Fish City Grill chain.

The new space features a free-standing bar, which is a change from the old version.

Bayne told us months ago he expected diners to feel comfortable with the familiarity of the place but pleased with the new finishes.

Fish City Grill is located at 10720 Preston Road. It is open 11 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday.
