Former president George W. Bush will host Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky and Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen for the Bush Institute’s Struggle for Freedom conference this week.

The Struggle for Freedom conference will be a livestreamed virtual event in partnership with freedom House and National Endowment for Democracy happening from 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 16.

The purpose of the conference is to bring together, activists, experts and leaders to discuss global struggles for freedom, pushing back against the authoritarian threat, the impact of emerging technologies and how the U.S. can help support democracy and human rights abroad.

Other featured speakers include Alice Albright Stephen Biegun, Paula Dobriansky, Natalia Arno, Daniel Twinning, Scott Carpenter, Joey Cheek and more.
