Chef Onur Akan
Trova Wine + Market will host its first wine pairing dinner with guest Chef Onur Akan this Sunday, May 7.
Akan has recently been making waves on the Dallas dining scene and is the founder and executive chef of Dallas-based Chef Akan Experiences.
Originally from Samsun, Turkey, Akan’s culinary creations are inspired by the rich flavors and spices of spice markets and bazaars of Istanbul, Turkey.
“We are thrilled to welcome Chef Akan into our kitchen,” Trova Wine + Market’s owner
Michelle Bonds said in the press release. “Our goal is to offer our guests an unforgettable evening of palatable cuisine and exceptional wines, and we’re confident that Chef Akan’s culinary artistry will exceed their expectations.”
Guests can expect a menu featuring locally-sourced, organic, and seasonal ingredients. The wines will be selected and curated by the Trova team. The fifth course will be provided by Trova’s Chef Stephanie Vivino.
The private dinner will be held at 7 p.m. this Sunday. Tickets can be purchased here.
