This Saturday, Cheryl Jackson, founder of Minnie’s Food Pantry, will sign copies of the organization’s signature cookbook at the Galleria from noon to 2 p.m.

The book signing will be located on Level 1 across from apple. There will be a QR code available to those who wish to donate to MFP, with individuals donating more than $20 receiving a cookbook. Every $1 donated provides three meals for those in need.

Dating back to June 30 there has been a Gallery Wall on display across from Apple promoting the organization. The display will remain visible until July 31.

Minnie’s Food Pantry is a 501 C-3 organization founded in 2008 to provide a reliable source of nutrition to community members and families facing food insecurity in Plano. Since then, the organization has grown to include pantries in Texas, Pennsylvania and New York. It is named after Jackson’s mother Minne, a well-respected pastor and community leader.
