The Frontiers of Flight Museum at Love Field Airport is hosting its New Frontiers Gala this October.

As part of the gala, the museum will launch its “DESTINATION: Frontiers,” which highlights new advancements in space exploration and Aerospace-STEM education programs. Guests can expect a special dinner and live music during the event. The event will be held Oct. 7.

Dr. Sian Proctor, a geoscientist and astronaut, will serve as guest speaker. She encourages people to use their strong points to inspire those around them and beyond through her Space2Inspire, which she detailed in a book about her journey in the SpaceX Inspiration4 mission.

Music for the night will come from the band Ricki Derek & the Band. Lead performer Ricki Derek draws inspiration from the likes of Sinatra, Tony Bennet, Sammy Davis Jr. and others.

Một Hai Ba’s Chef Peja Krstic will provide dinner for the night. Toni Brinker, founder and CEO of One CommunityUSA, will be this year’s gala’s chair.
