The Kips Bay Decorator Show announced its fourth annual return to Dallas for its interior design event, selecting Old Preston Hollow as its showcase location this November.

This year’s show house will be located at 9446 Hathaway Street in Sunnybrook Estates within Old Preston Hollow, the same neighborhood where the last two show homes were hosted. The show house is set to be open for two weeks starting on Friday, Nov. 3.

“We’re thrilled to return to the Old Preston Hollow neighborhood for the fourth annual Kips Bay Decorator Show House,” president of the board of the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club, James Druckman, said in an announcement. “The Show House continues to excite and engage the design community, and we couldn’t be more excited to return to Dallas during Dallas Design Week to raise critical funding for the Dallas community and our kids.”

The house itself is nestled in the heart of Old Preston Hollow and includes five bedrooms and four living spaces. Before the official event opens to the public, each interior designer will be tasked with transforming each of the rooms in the 1940s house. The property also includes a pool, sprawling outdoor spaces, and a three-car garage.

“We are so grateful to the Dallas community for their continued support of our organization,” executive director of the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club, Dan Quintero, said. “We’ve been working closely with the City of Dallas and the local Home Owners’ Association to ensure this is as seamless a process of possible for the residents of Old Preston Hollow.”

For 48 years, the event has doubled as a fundraiser for the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. The event has been a hub for interior designers assigned to style-designated rooms. The Kips Bay Decorator Show House Dallas will benefit two local charities. Dwell with Dignity is a nonprofit agency aimed at creating homes for families struggling with homelessness and poverty. The Crystal Charity Ball has supported children’s charities in Dallas County for over 70 years.

Those interested in attending the event can purchase tickets on their website with opening day tickets starting at $500. The general admission ticket is priced at $50 on Nov. 6.
