The luxury furniture and home decor retailer, Frontgate, is leaving behind its Legacy West location in Plano and moving to Preston Hollow in November.
Earlier this year, it was first announced that Frontgate would be opening its second Texas location at the Preston Royal shopping center. They will take over the 9,443-square-foot space that was once the old Barnes & Noble. The Legacy West location was the first Texas location for Frontgate and opened in 2017.Â
Barnes & Noble closed its Preston Royal location in 2021 after surviving a tornado and a pandemic. They closed their doors after 15 years in June 2021.
The furniture brand is known for its outstanding outdoor furniture but also has rugs, decor, bedding, kitchen products and other household necessities.
The Plano location will close sometime mid-September and the Dallas location is set for later this fall.
