Jonathaon’s Diner Oak Cliff location.
Two years ago, Jonathon’s Oak Cliff flagship resturant closed. After much anticipation, Jonathon’s opens in North Dallas under the new aptly named moniker: Jonathon’s Forestwood.
Besides the new neighborhood, nothing much has changed for Jonathon’s. The new location now resides at Forestwood Shopping Center in Preston Hollow. The menu shares the same heart as Jonathon’s Oak Cliff with a full breakfast fare and decadent burgers.
According to their website, Chef Jon promises new dishes such as chicken pot pie, Seared Ahi Tuna, Wraps and new desserts.
The announcement to take over the old Kel’s space came in 2021 and the new restaurant was estimated to open this August but opened officially in September.
For those who want to go to their Oak Cliff location at 1619 N Beckley Ave, the same menu and spot remain for neighbors.
