Dallas Love Field announces its inaugural partnership with the local nonprofit organization Give a Kid a Coat Foundation to provide warmth to children in need this season.

Led by Grammy award-winning artist Sir Earl Toon and Carla Harrel, the organization, and now together with Love Field, commits to helping countless children and families each year. Love Field invites the public to contribute new or gently used coats, which can be left with valet attendants from Friday, Dec. 22 through Jan. 5, 2024.

“We are proud to join hands with Give a Kid a Coat Foundation in this effort to ensure that every child in our community has a warm coat for the winter,” aviation director, Patrick Carreno, said “It’s heartening to see our community come together to make a difference in the lives of these young individuals.”

This partnership marks the airport’s first coat donation drive with Give a Kid a Coat Foundation and emphasizes the airport’s commitment to supporting local children. Embracing modern technology and transportation, Love Field enables monetary donations through QR codes around the airport and online for those unable to visit in person.
