Eric Nadel, Voice of the Texas Rangers, during the 11th annual Eric Nadel’s Birthday Benefit

The Eric Nadel Birthday Benefit will hold its annual event benefitting Grant Halliburton Foundation.

The 12th annual benefit concert will be held at Kessler Theater on Thursday, May 16, starting at 7 p.m.

Preston Hollow resident Eric Nadel is better known as the longtime voice of the Texas Rangers, the 2023 World Series Champions. This year marks his 46th year of broadcasting Rangers baseball, officially the longest announcer in franchise history. The Eric Nadel Birthday Benefit concert raises funds for local mental health organizations each year. The event will feature light bites at the VIP sponsor reception, Texas Rangers-themed decorations and live music.

“The work of Grant Halliburton Foundation is more important than it’s ever been,” Nadel said during last year’s birthday benefit. “They work hard every day to erase the stigma around mental health issues and encourage people to reach out for help.”

The event will feature a live and silent auction and performances from Dallas-based musician and mental health advocate Rhett Miller. Brooklyn-based musician Leslie Mendelson is also listed in the lineup.

Haynes Boone will present the event along with media sponsor 91.7 KXT FM.
