The North Dallas Chamber of Commerce (NDCC) will hold its 70th annual meeting to commemorate seven decades of service, featuring keynote speaker the CEO of AT&T, John Stankey.

The event will be held on Monday, April 29 at the Hilton Anatole. Attendees will hear from Stankey, a leader in the telecommunications industry, and will share his insights on the future of connectivity and his experience in leading AT&T. The conversation will be moderated by Ollie Chandhok, Dallas Business Journal market president and publisher.

“For 70 years, the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce has been a leader, bringing large and small businesses together to strengthen economic ties, network and build friendships,” senator and former NDCC board chair Kay Bailey Hutchinson said. “Their voice is vital in representing the interests of our business community.”

The annual meeting serves as a celebration of the chamber’s long-term success in the community and look forward to its plans for 2025 and beyond in the business world. Some past achievements include the development of Dallas Love Field, the phase-out of the Wright Amendment and the Dallas North Tollway.

Future projects include developing the Dallas International District, Dallas ISD K-12 STEAM school and a 20-acre park near the Dallas International District

“We are not just celebrating a historic milestone, but also the significant impact that the North Dallas Chamber has had in making Dallas a vibrant place to work and live,” said Megan McQuery, NDCC’s vice president of communications.

The event is presented by AT&T and will run from noon to 1:30 p.m. Tickets are available for the committee, nonmembers, members and ambassadors.
