Dallas drivers should prepare for traffic disruptions as the Dallas North Tollway undergoes Northaven Trail bridge repairs for two weekends this month.

The closures come from previous accidents on the bridge in September. This weekend, starting on Friday from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Monday, the closures will affect:

The entire southbound stretch from Interstate 635 to Royal Lane.
The direct connector ramps from both directions of I-635 to the southbound tollway.
Entrance ramps from Harvest Hill Road, Inwood Road and Forest Lane heading southbound.
The exit ramp at southbound Royal Lane.
The left lane heading northbound from Royal Lane to Forest Lane.

More construction will continue on Northaven Road lanes across the tollway starting this Friday through mid-April.

The North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) has provided detours for drivers for the weekends listed on its website. Detour prompts on signs and message board along the tollway will also help drivers navigate through the construction zones.
