Dallas police responded to a triple homicide on Monday night near Grauwyler Park and Dallas Love Field Airport.

Officers responded to the 7700 block of Harry Hines Boulevard around 11:45 p.m. and found an abandoned vehicle.

During the investigation, officers found that the victim in the car, 35-year-old Jesus Garcia, was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.

Around 12:10 a.m., officers checked the registration of the car and matched it with a residence in the 2300 block of Gilford Street, about half a mile  from Garcia’s car. Upon arrival, they discovered two men dead from gunshot wounds.

Officers determined that the two incidents were connected and “appeared to be linked to criminal activity.”

They determined that Garcia and the other two men were involved in a shooting inside the home, with the two men shooting Garcia while he fired back at them.

Detectives on the case do not suspect involvement of other suspects.
