The Jesuit Dallas Museum will host an exhibition in the Historical Library on March 20, showcasing Carolyn Brown Photography: Travels with Carolyn and Chris Lattanzio.

Brown, an architectural and fine arts photographer, and artist Chris Lattanzio both use the science of light, color and sound to craft dynamic, interactive experiences.

With strong ties to the Dallas photography scene, Brown previously exhibited during the State Fair in 2000. Her work has been featured in collections and museums in Houston and Los Angeles.

“Photography is at the very center of my being—if it’s not documenting faraway places and antiquities, it’s people, culture, and human differences. One cannot escape our fascinating cultural makeup. For me, the importance of photography is that it documents time,” she expressed in her exhibit “Sacred Spaces: Man and the Divine in Mexico, Central America, and the Southwestern United States.”

This free event, open to the public, will offer beverages, music, and light bites from 6 to 8 p.m.

The exhibition will be on display from March 20 through June.
