The seven-story office building under construction at Preston Center has acquired a new tenant, reports Steve Brown of Dallas Morning News. Energy Transfer Equity L.P. has leased 131,000 square feet of office space in the building, moving from offices in Highland Park and Oak Lawn as result of the company’s growth. joining lead tenant Chief Oil & Gas. DMN reports that “Energy Transfer was in the news recently when it won $319 million in legal damages in a high-profile lawsuit over a pipeline project partnership.” Construction on the building is expected to be finished sometime next year, Brown reports.

GuideLive reports that St. Mark’s School alumni Andrew Wilson and actor Luke Wilson, will likely make an appearance at the upcoming Dallas International Film Festival’s screenings of the short, “Satellite Beach.” Andrew and Luke co-directed and their childhood friend and fellow student at St. Mark’s alumnus, Steve Eckelman, produced. Luke is also featured as an actor in the film short.
