If you prefer wine but you’re better half goes for brew, Ginger Man has you both covered: ‘He said Beer, She said Wine’ brings together the best of both worlds by pairing several foods with various wines and beers (you pick which one). That event starts Saturday at 2:30 and is $35 per person.
The Shelton School alumni and faculty will be performing “Snapshot,” a play about glimpses into peoples’ lives—including the good, the bad, and the ugly. That show will be Aug. 21 at 7 p.m. and Aug. 22 at 2 p.m. Tickets at the door are $5 for kids and $10 for adults, and proceeds benefit school scholarships.
The Italian Club of Dallas will be hosting a St. Stephen’s Day celebration in honor of Hungary’s Independence Day this Sunday at 4 p.m. A Hungarian dinner is included for $30 per adult, and $15 per child. You can reserve your seat via email.
