The Longhorns already won our neighborhood’s bragging rights when they recently took down the Panthers—and now they’re hoping for another victory at their big homecoming game next month.
This year’s homecoming parade is set for Oct. 1, but the school still needs more convertibles for its precession. If you have a drop-top you’d be willing to lend out, the PTA wants to hear from you.
They’d need the car from about 3 to 5 p.m., and the route is one lap around the school—at a nice-and-safe slow pace, so you don’t have to worry about dents or dings. If you’d like to help the Longhorns make their parade a success this year, just email Ken Barth.
